Can I make child support payments electronically?
Yes, the Florida Child Support ePay site is a comprehensive online agency that allows the parent who owes child support or the employer of the parent who owes child support to make electronic payments on their website. The parent may use this website once or repeatedly to make automatic withdrawals from his or her bank account or pay the child support directly with the use of a credit or debit card. The same website can be used by the employer of the parent making child support payments.
How does one start ePay child support payments on this website?
Before you can use this website to make payments for child support, you will need to register and provide the requested information. Each time you want to access the website you will need to log in with your password. The information that is required to register includes the following:
– Name and valid address
– Social security number
– Telephone number
– Valid email address
– County name and case number
– Bank name, address, account number, routing number and type of account (Checking or savings).
If your employer wants to make child support payments on your behalf, he or she will also have to add the above information.
If I make the payments automatic, how much should I pay each month?
It is highly recommended that you pay the amount dictated by the court.
Are the payment options flexible?
Yes, you can schedule the payment on any weekday, every two weeks or at the end of each month. The system also allows you to make more than one payment separately.
How will I know that the money has been withdrawn from my bank account?
As soon as the money is withdrawn you will be notified via email and receive a credit for payment.
When does one schedule a payment?
Your payment must be scheduled for at least 48 hours prior to the date to have selected for payment. This is assuming all your bank information has been verified when you registered.
What if I do not have sufficient funds in my bank account to cover the payments?
If you discover that your bank account doesn’t have enough funds to make the secluded payments, you must cancel the payment within 48 hours of the scheduled date. Once you log into the payment section, it will give you the option of cancellation. If you don’t cancel in time, your child support payment will be on hold and your automatic withdrawal will be canceled. After that, you will be required to send all future payments using a guaranteed payment method such as a cashiers check, money order or a credit card. Failing to have money in your bank account is one of the most common reasons why the ePay account is placed on hold.
How does one modify child support?

In court, you will have to present evidence supporting your loss of income or job and that the unemployment is not voluntary.
